In 2008, at 18 years old, fresh out of high school, he found himself at the Rothbury Music Festival in Rothbury, MI the birthplace of Electric Forest. Just ten miles south of his hometown, the festival was a rite of passage, marking a life-changing moment that forever altered his path.

The festival was more than music; it was a spiritual awakening. Surrounded by deep bass, swirling visuals, and a sense that time had slowed, SLOTH’s mind, body, and spirit resonated with every vibration, unlocking something primal. That Electric weekend opened the doors to festival culture, redefining his understanding of sound, self, and the world.
